Description

Inspired by the song "Flora's Secret" by Enya: :star:[link]:star:
"Lovers in the long grass
Look above them
Only they can see
Where the clouds are going
Only to discover
Dust and sunlight
Ever make the sky so blue

Afternoon is hazy
River flowing
All around the sounds
Moving closer to them
Telling them the story
Told by Flora
Dreams they never knew"

Damn you Enya and having such relaxing music!!
I dozed off a few times working on this both in school and home. xDD

So I am in AP Studio Art... the ONLY student in it at my school. xDD
I have to work on a Portfolio consisting of 12 themed pieced and 12 other non-themed pieces.... and millions of sketchbook assignments. xDD
(Luckly we're allowed to use older pieces along with it!!)
My theme for my portfolio is Miro's story~ <3
....
This piece is part of the series~!!

Also if you didn't notice my title and the background...
It's based off of human field of vision.
Central vision symbolizes Miro's past.
Blind spots symbolize her present.
And what she can't see behind her is her future.
XDD;;;

What it means? Well.... that's for you guys to think~ <3

Daydreamers rejoice, this lasting image should satisfy your wondering eyes in the most boring parts of your days for years to come. I'm speaking of course, about Field of Vision by Tuooneo.

Right from the preview at the bottom of my messages screen, I could tell the work's detail and charm were insurmountable. The colors are nice and vivd where the should be while not deterring the eyes with too much flair. What really took me by surprise upon viewing htis piece was the amount of detail. Sure, not every plant has it's own picture or story, but Tuooneo's piece captures a playful yet mature sense of detail.

Honestly, I love the middle oval-shaped section. The character inside is brimming with personalty and I'm curious as to what Miro is staring at.

The real flaws in this piece (They are so miniscule!) are the bottom and top sections. While I do love the bottom (which I'm assuming is the past), it seems rushed. There are plenty of details, but the contrast in greens seems like it should be so great, although it may be my computer monitor. On that same note, the top section seems to be a little too bland for Miro's future. Possible, a bit more detail and plant-goodness should have been added there?

To conclude, I love Field of Vision. Its a delightful scene with a few minor details I can't say I'm completely delighted by, but overall, this piece strikes a hot coal in my heart.

Continue your work, Tuooneo! This piece is completely worthy of the Daily Deviation it received. I hope to see much much more from you!

Best regards, Soyaku Jinjashi
